Great idea, Jim! I am a 44 yr old Occupational Therapist and mother of a
17 yr old son with CP. He uses a Permobil power chair and is mainstreamed
into 11th grade in public school. (Many years of fighting to get this far!!)
Although my specialty in OT was geriatrics 25 yrs ago.... I now am quite
experienced in all areas of pediatrics, CP, assistive technology, and rehab
engineering. I spend a great deal of time on "architectural barrier" issues
on a county and state level here in PA. I also have daughters, who are 15
and 13 yr old. I am always following the posts of the group and am not very
verbal here, but maybe this is a start. Elaine
