Although several companies have recently announced lab efforts
towards a 1000 MHz CPU, I believe you're asking about a 100 MHz bus,
right?

In a perfect world, 10ns RAM would work at 100 MHz.
Alas, reality is that it has to be a bit faster to keep up; SDRAM
certified to work at 100 MHz ("PC100") is actually rated at 7 or 8
ns.

If you care about stability, you should go PC100.
