I have two questions I hope someone can help a non-techie person with. First, the clock in my system tray keeps losing time....not a whole lot, maybe 10 minutes in 2 weeks. I reset it, and then after a while I notice it is running slow again. Any suggestions or comments?
Secondly, I am wondering about the backup battery that is someplace inside my computer tower. Is it on the motherboard? On the hard drive? Is this something that goes bad after a while. Could this be the cause of my clock running slow? The computer hasn't been unplugged for about 6 months. My computer isn't unplugged very often...usually only when it has to go in for service of some kind. Is this battery in a place that I as a computer KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE INSIDE Of THE BOX person, can replace? Again, suggestions or comments please.
Thanks,
Mary Cameron
