Hey Bobby,
Looks like the ticker might need fixing. Either valve replacement (as opposed
to repair) or the lesser option of a pacemaker. My gp thinks it's a conduction
problem and is consulting with a cardiac specialist in Ottawa (his son). They're
looking at a consult with a fellow from Johns Hopkins. My suppressed immune
system is one of the reasons they're looking at pacemaker implanation as it's
out-patient procedure though under full anaesthetic. Normally, it's local
anaesthetic, but given my phobia, it would be best to have me totally oblivious.
Perhaps I should have my teeth cleaned at the same time :) Oh joy!
Cheers!
Carla
