Frustrated w/ door

Hi,

As most of you know, I moved out on my own in August.  Does anyone know
of any organizations that would fund a electric door opener?  I can't go
out by myself because I can't lock the door behind me.  When I'm home by
myself I have to leave the door part way open in case I have to get out.
It's FRUSTRATING!
