oh, my nose never gave me a problem. i'd eat anything that don't bite me
first as would my dad. say grace over it and eat.

D8, huh? Biggest I ever got to drive was a D6. You eat those fish in
mustard or oil? My grandpa would eat 'em by the cans full, but I couldn't
get 'em past my nose.

I am surprised you or Ken have not mentioned sardines and crackers.
My dad taught me how to eat all that on the road trips where he would go
out to repair tractors on ranches in Texas. He worked for the Caterpillar
dealer of South Texas and would take me with him sometimes. Now that is
what I call quality "male bonding"!! It was great to climb up on a D8 and
knock down some mesquites as a "test drive"
We ate all kinds of poor man's delights back then.
