mike, do you have the invitation for interview in writing? do you feel that
they were just saying "there is no position for you?" if you answered yes to
these two questions, i'd see a lawyer.

I am mad!  No, actuslly, I am furious!  I spent $450 to go to ND. and
for nothing... I thought I had a job interview for a position at my high
school alma mater, but it turned out to be a lot of hot air!  The person
I was supposed to interview with refused to see me, and told an
underling to tell me there was no position available. Arrrgh! Then the
person I stayed with was a North Dakotan Redneck. Trisha would've loved
to put a hex on him...lol  He had absolutely no patience with me. I felt
used by him, and think less of him now then I did before.  I might go
back there next year, but not as a job seeker.  I'm going to stay here
in Virginia.
