 As a Californian-in-Exile, I am painfully aware that certain of my fellow
westerners (of the troglodytic persuasion)  refer to it as "gummint", but
frankly couldn't figure out a better way to render dat woid in text as it
pronounced by da Noo Yawkuhs (which itself doesn't accurately render dat last
woid.)
