Greetings,

Last weekend a chron job failed and as it was a 3 day weekend here it has
had to wait until this morning to be repaired. Apologies. It will be up
again shortly.

As for the other questions.

1)
All the pages originate from the University. It is not the full collection
because many of the on-line course work materials use flash and other multi
media tools. We are also using it on a single server currently. This is a
single domain of a SUN E10,000 using Netscape enterprise server.

2)
For the next couple of weeks it is nightly. When the 'converter' is
launched it will be a part of the publish routine which moves the pages
from the staging environment to the production environment.

Depending on CPU load we expect that each page published will appear in the
text converter within 10 minutes. This is an estimate on a complete
republish of a large sub site. Single page alterations will be immediate.

3) We have templates, navigation strategies and naming conventions for all
content published in the gu domain. The converter has been written to
utilise these rules. We also have a set of Disability Access
Recommendations which cover standards for the use of alt tags and common
language descriptions.

These rules for meta data are enforced by pre-publication automated
checking. The other rules are part of the content custodianship and the
responsibility of line management to oversee. The IntRnet services team
fulfills a reporting and content managment role.
