re: People for Paulsen Campaign - Wants Your Help - before 9/12/2000

Dear Reformers Of The Independence Party, September 2000

I am writing to you, asking for your support in my campaign to become your
next city council person of south St. Paul.

My campaign issues are:

Lack Of Activities For Youth Affordable Housing For All
Sales Tax Rebate Senior Prescription Drug Program
Health Care Work Force Shortage Medical Assistance Income Standard

Patient Protection Create Incentives For New Families
For Relocation

I have experience in local and state government for nearly ten years. I
also have been involved in my community and volunteer on a number of
committees: Minnesota Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities , Human
Rights Commission of South Saint Paul , United Cerebral Palsy of
Minnesota/Government Activities Committee, Saint Paul Mayor's Advisory
Committee for People with Disabilities, Independence Party of Minnesota -
LD 39B Chair, People of Color Committee on Disability - UCP/GAC,
Transportation Accessibility Advisory Committee (TAAC)

This election is important to the residents of South St. Paul, giving the
political climate at the state level. So I urge you and your friends get
involved and VOTE Paulsen for city council September 12, 2000. The People
For Paulsen Campaign Lawn Signs are here, contributions may be made to
Southview Bank, 835 Southview Blvd south St. Paul, Minnesota 55075. Thank
you for your support during this campaign.

Sincerely,

Darrell Paulsen, for
City Council of South St. Paul
