List guys,

I took my last professional trip(since I am officially retiring at the end of April) to a conference in my home town, San Antonio. I got to take
my mom to church(she likes
that and even intrtoduced me as "Dr. Greer" for once). In the hotel(Laura, I stayed at that huge Marriot Rivercenter) lobby I met a Mexican friend
who is post polio. We were camp counselors at a camp for children with disabilities in 1958. We compared notes about our children and
grandchildren. That was in contrast to when we were horny teenagers in 1958! LOL We visited for over an hour. On the flight back, a friend of mine
was the senior flight attendant and she upgraded me to 1st class. I had smoked salmon and caviar on the flight back!! Quite a fitting end to my
trip.

Actually, from a spiritual view point, I think my father smiled down on me from heaven for taking Mom to church. Since my father's death, I
have had a few "unexplained" things happen to me at certain times. This may sound bizarre coming from a most secular oriented person.
