I'm not sure I agree with you or your uncle.  It sounds like you're saying
that people with disabilities would be more desperate for companionship, so
they would make due with any kind of "damaged goods".  First think about
what that says about other disabled people, then what it says about you.
You deserve the best, someone who loves you... not someone who's just
settling because they couldn't do any better.  What makes you think that you
are any less desirable than any "normal" person?  Don't buy in to society's
stereotypes!
