Hi, Mike
The TV station is Global - it is the largest affiliate in Ontario. It is located in Toronto. I saw the report on their news last night and they issued the same warning. My best friend's husband is a computer network designer with a large hitech firm here in Ottawa. That is who I received the warning from yesterday. Until I saw the confirmation on the news, I hesitated to forward the warning even though I absolutely trust my friend's information.
I suspect that there have been so many virus scares lately, it may not be front page news anymore. :-) Or it may only be in Canada so far. I just wanted to let people know.
I won't post this kind of thing again to the list. I'm sorry if I was out of line.
Yvonne

Yvonne, What was the name of the TV station? Do you have first hand
knowledge of this? Why isn't the newsmedia here screaming about it? I
refuse to be concerned about something with as few details as you've
given us...
