Try switching out the memory with some known good memory.
also double check the cpu settings especially voltage.
sounds like a classic case of flakey memory.
I had some one time that didn't like Ms encarta encyclopedia,
got all kinds of weird errors, which went away as soon
as I installed name brand memory. I no longer
by generic memory as I have had too many nightmares.
