I have heard it is very dangerous if a drive shows up as two
different letters, if it
is really only one. You stand a very real chance of data corruption. I
have only had this
problem (in hard drives) when the drive was "installed" or configured in
the BIOS AND
when software drivers were loaded latter that "installed" or recognized
the same drive
for a second time. When this happens, it is important NOT to write to
either "copy" of
the drive and to shut down and repair the configuration problem.
Please note that Windows95 OSR2 and WindowsNT 4 (and above?) have
native
support for LS120 and do not require the loading of device drivers.
