I see you have already received two excellent answers.   But, another
thing to consider...   especially in the face of the cost of another modem
and additional phone line and ISP service is either a DSL feed or Cable
Modem.

These types of connections are not that expensive today...   ranging
from $30 to $75 a month, based on your location and the companies
offering the service.  The actual transfer speeds are remarkably faster
than dual modems and/or ISDN of 128k.   The typical speed from either
cable or base DSL today is around 640k....  blazing fast.   I went to
a cable modem last May and would not even consider going back to
a modem or even ISDN.
