Slowly operating tractor feed printer?
I have two guesses:
1) the belt that turns the carriage may have become loose or worn.
tightening or replacing would likely fix your problem.
2) there is obstruction in the paper path. try 'flossing' with some hard
stock paper. if you can wiggle the paper left and right under the roller
(carriage) and see the other end of it at all times, the path then should be
clear.

P.S. that's all I could come up with... hope is helps!

Subject: [PCBUILD] OKIDATA dot matrix printer
One of my customers uses a OKIDATA Microline 320 Dot Matrix Printer with a
E Pull Tractor to print forms.
The tractor feed is operating slowly causing the paper to bunch up. The
OKIDATA home page has information on the printer and tractor but not any
troubleshooting guides for this kind of problem. Is anyone familiar with
this sort of setup and are there any solutions other then replacement?
Thanks
