Since many sound cards have been produced that emulate SoundBlaster,
choosing this option within the Add New Hardware process may produce
acceptable results.  Indeed, Win9x may detect it as such during
installation,
and the lack of driver disks would be rendered academic.  In your
situation,
I would just go ahead and install Win9x.
