I guess it depends on how you look at it - the BX is either "old" or
"proven." :)
You need to decide on what you need first, then find the technology that
fits your needs. The BX can do dual processor, soft BIOS configuration (no
jumpers), up to 6 PCI slots + AGP, and up to 800MHz (I think).

Given all that and the fact that you can get a motherboard that has
thousands of users producing feedback on it, my most recent motherboard
purchase was a BX.
