well guys, this morning started a 11 year old tradition at my house. it
started 11 Christmases ago. as i was listening to the song "12 days of
Christmas," i thought ahead to feburary. i bought some inexpensitive
multipacks of things for my plan. later i got a few other things like gum,
candy bars, mints, etc. i then bought a pack of the small valintines that
usually are used by kids for their friends.

now on feb. 1 my wife found a small valintine and a small gift at her place
at the dining table. the valintine has a clue of where she can
find the next days "treasure". she finds that one (maybe a candle in a jar
or something else, and another valintine with a clue) for the next day. this
goes on until on Valintines day she gets a big nice card and gift. it is
more than a last minute drop by the store and pick up a box of candy or
roses etc. it is a 14 day thing that she has your attention and also the
kids get involved in helping her find the days gift sometimes even visitors
get involved in the hunt. it teaches the kids to be a little romantic. my
son now wants to help do the hiding of mothers gifts.

i have been doing this now 11 years.

it is not too late for you guys to start before the day is gone. you have
to hurry though. you might be amazed at how your wife will react.

try it, you do not have to say you got the idea from someone else.
