Too many parents claim they know they are protecting us by keeping us inside
not being allowed to participate in the community.  By keeping us sheltered
they are keeping us from having a life of our own.  My mother didn't want me
to be on my own.  Now after 11 years she's happy I did.  My two older
brothers who aren't disabled are still at home.
