Yes, assuming the following. You need to have 1 free ISA slot in each
computer, and drivers available for the cards under win98. The cable also
needs to be a crossover cable. If it's not, you'll need a hub. If you need
a new crossover cable, a local shop should be able to make one, last one I
bought was about $5.

No, generally, any two nics will work with each other (Yes, I know some of
you out there have horror stories, but humor me, will you!) They do both
need to be the same speed (10baseT, 10base2, or whatever)

It shouldn't be too hard. Just a matter of uninstalling the network cards,
and adding new cards and the proper protocols.
