David,
I was going to say that you will probably get no reply from Zone Alarm
Support. They are notorious for failing to respond to e-mails for support.
I have contacted them twice, first about Zone Alarm 2.1.25 and more
recently in September when I purchases Zone Alarm Pro and had a problem
with a constant GPF.
I did not receive a reply from Zone Labs support to either request
(however, luckily stumbled across the solution to the GPF myself). However
I notice that they have just posted the following information on their web
site:
"We apologize to the Zone Labs user community for an inadvertent problem with
our technical support e-mail management system. If you received an
incorrect response
or no response at all to your query, please re-submit the request. Zone
Labs Technical
Support strives to respond to initial queries within 24-72 business hours."
So it may be worthwhile e-mailing them again.
Otherwise, if you post your problem to the GRC ShieldsUp newsgroup (be
warned huge volume of postings) you may find it answered by a Zone Labs
support person. One in particular I have noticed responding while browsing
the site is Rebeccah H. Prastein.
I have seen one other posting somewhere about the same error message and
Conseal v2.09d, so perhaps there is a more general issue involved?
Regards,
Rosalind Walters
