I have a 17" monitor that suddenly will go blank and show a thin horizontal stripe across it.  If I put the computer on suspend and leave it for a bit the monitor will then be ok.  I've checked the cables and they seem to be alright.  Does this sound like a video card problem or is the monitor itself dying?
