I think we glorify war way too much. I don't want to get into the politics
of war, but most of the effects of it are horrible.

        However, Ken, you forget one sad fact. Wars seem to do the most for
advancing technology and opportinities for persons with disabilities
because they create so many disabled person. The Long Cane used by
individuals who are blind was developed after WWII by the VA. Until the
ADA, every voc. rehab law was passed after a major war.

        This should start a hot discussion!
