Dear List, This post is geared towards women (although men may have some
insight about prosthetics implanted in the body of other sorts). I am
curious as to experiences of Celiac women and breast implants? Since
Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease and the implants have been
reported to cause autoimmune diseases in some women; I wonder how many
Celiac women have had bad or good experiences with these implants. I
have pondered this kind of surgery for years (for my own personal
reasons) and am trying to collect information as relating to Celiac.
Confidentiality would be fullt supported. Thank you. Elizabeth Polhemus
