<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>>

Merrie, you asked for input regarding the letter to Dateline about Proctor
and Gamble's alleged reactions to various calls for information. In my
opinion, seasoned and media-sensitive individuals associated with some
organizations have the best chances for effecting a situation such as you
have presented to Dateline. Therefore, I would recommend that the 3 national
Celiac organizations should be the ones who make contacts with either P & G,
to present grievances, or to Dateline or a similar national news program.

This will take collaboration between the national Celiac organizations,
which, in my opinion, seems to be lacking on issues of importance to celiacs
and their health. If you feel as deeply as you do, send out an inquiry to
the Celiac community on this List as to their opinions and willingness to
e-mail our organizations.  United, we might be heard and listened to;
individually, we seem to accomplishing little other than stirring ourselves
up.
