Hi All,
I have an older hard drive with the EIDE interface from
which I would like to extract some data. My current
computer uses the IDE interface. Does anyone know if I can
install the EIDE hard drive into the IDE computer as a slave
if I use the original EIDE cable and set the jumper to slave
(EIDE cable will go into the IDE socket, but not
vice-versa)? Or would such action blow my motherboard?
    Karl
