First,  to make your second HD (Drive D:)  type SYS D: then press enter at
the Windows' DOS prompt (you'll get "system transferred" message).
This means your Drive D: (new HD) is now bootable.

Second, while power is off open your PC and carefully do the following:

-Configure the jumpers of the two HDs.  Make the old HD as the "slave" then
the new HD as the "master" (look for jumper guide on the HD).
-Switch on your PC then go to the BIOS setup and enter on the "HD automatic
detection" option, this time your new HD will appear as the primary master
HD and the old is the primary slave HD.  Set your HDs to "LBA" translation
in the first menu option of your BIOS.

Hopefully this will work
