Hope you didn't overlook the not so obvious. I have an Abit BE6 II, which
supports Infrared. I had to purchase separately from Actisys an IrDa
Adapter, about $40.00 US. Once installed this little jewel works great. I use
it synchronize my PSION PDA to my PC. The only negative thing is the speed is
limited to 115Kbs, but even then it only takes a few minutes to backup and
synchronize. The Infrared "eye" connects to the PC via a cable which connects
to the motherboard IrDa header. I think if I remember right, the distance is
limited to approx. 3-4 feet. I contacted the MB supplier about the IrDa
adapter, but they were not much help at the time and suggested the IrDa
suppliers could be of more assistance to me. They were right. Hope this helps.

Good Luck,
Jay Merritt
