Info alert! Info alert! Info alert! Info alert! Info alert!
Dear List members,
I'm about to ask a huge favor, but my guess is that at least one or two of
us might have what I'm looking for tucked away somewhere and this isn't a
huge request, after all. At least, I hope so.
Fox News' Bill O'Reilly wants to interview Drs. Michael and Mary Dan Eades
on the upcoming USDA study BUT; he wants to see a correlation between the
government's position and donations or lobbying from the grain industry.
USDA funding is public record. But it's not unusual for a government entity
to make you wait a long time for such information. Does anyone have
documentation of large grain (or sugar) industry donations to the USDA or
know how to quickly obtain such records? Is there, perhaps, a private web
site that has already tracked such donations? Anything you've got, I'll
take.
Another thing I plan to track down is the amount of money Dr. Dean Ornish
has recieved from the USDA. FYI, he has been asked to speak at the hearing.
Mike and Mary Dan do, indeed, have more than a few records of such
activity but the more we have, the stronger our case that the government is
in bed with US grain producers.
This will make one great show! Thanks in advance to anyone with any
information. I'll certainly post the show date.
