My son is also allergic to milk. I have read a lot of helpful info on the
POFAK mailing lists (go to e_groups.com and search for POFAK). It is for
"Parents Of Food Allergic Kids". There are several people on it who are
very knowledgeable about Kosher labelling and hidden components of
"flavorings" and "spices".
