It is that time again! The Cup, the Fever and the Rush are on us! This
biennial exciting tournament kicks off in Tunisia on Saturday, Jan 24
thru Valentine's Day and once more like in previous games, it looks like
we in Madison will be shut out of the main TV broadcasts. Unless someone
has information to the contrary, there will be no TV coverage of these
games in our area, whether cable or satellite.

However, a California based Sports Distributor, Setanta, is providing the
games by closed-circuit TV only to paid subscribers, mostly commercial
establishments like sports bars and restaurants. The question is to find
out if there is any interest amongst us here to contact them to subscribe
to the broadcasts via a local venue. Any one interested please contact me
here or on my cell phone (516-5387) ASAP so we can see if this is
feasible.  We only got 2 days so we got to move fast!
