Dear Joe:

Hello!

I would like to raise a few issues regarding your response to K.C.'s
suggestions, which, by the way, are serious.

1. The listserv is the property of AAM, but I don't think that it is a
replacement for the membership meetings where items pertaining to the life
of the Association are tabled and discussed and maybe voted upon.

2. Most people received the agenda of the Dec. 2 General Meeting; as far as
I know, K.C.'s suggestions were not included.

3. Consequently, It seems misleading to promise K.C. that "we will surely
link up with you to put these suggestions into fruition."

4. Do the AAM by-laws provide for this new style conducting business?

5. K.C.'s suggestions need to be discussed within the the AAM constitution
and by-laws.

6. If the constitution is not up-to-date to allow for action on such
matters, I propose that it be ammended.

7. Let us remember that not all due-paying members of AAM are on this
listserv, and not all members of this listserv read every posting
distributed on this forum.

8. Let us not let technology divide us when we are supposed to use it to
strengthen our village.

Thank you for your consideration.
