Overall, my health is pretty good, as it was pre-paleo. I did
not come to this with any chronic health problems, other than
obesity. The only exception to that was chronic gum disease,
which paleo has largely cured.
I didn't get many colds before, and I still don't. I would
occasionally get a winter flu before, and I still do. There is
also the cholesterol issue, but I am no longer inclined to take
that as an indicator of general health. If it is, then I'm in
serious trouble.

Yes, this is my experience exactly. I can push those last pounds
(taking me down to 15% BF) off but they come back quickly.

I wish it were true in my case. I think I have described how
quickly I gained fat eating pork rinds dipped in almond butter.
They were good, though.
