Empiricism means to experience. How can experiencing something not be
influenced by one's beliefs?
Objective reality comes from basic universal principles that apply to all
equally without prejudice or preference. Much in the way gravity acts upon
all of us. You can choose to believe it or not to believe it. It does not
matter. The fact that you are studying it won't affect it, at least measurable.
Empirical reasoning does not always have much to do with objective reality.
