Hi list.

My wife was diagnosed CD last September, after a year of tests at Mayo
Clinic. We are in our seventies and she began having symptoms, mostly
diarrhea all night in the morning. We have been trying valiantly to keep
her on a strict GF diet and most of the time has been doing very well at it.
The problem is there is little or no improvement in her symptoms. Even
after days when she doesn't eat anything but a plain piece of meat and
vegetables. She is continuing to loose weight and is now down to 98 pounds
from about 100 when the symptoms started.

We use a separate toaster and a separate cutting board to prepare all her
food. We do, however, use the same cooking utensils but always wash them
well after using.

Do most of you have problems (CD symptoms) even though you stick closely to
a GF diet?

Ken
