David,

I'm walking in on the tail end of this thread, but....

If you haven't done so, you should press down
on all the socketed chips on the motherboard.

Have you tried unhooking EVERYthing except:
Power supply
Motherboard + CPU + RAM
Internal speaker (to hear the beep codes)
Video card

Unhook everything else --- including the keyboard
and all cables. When you unplug the cables, check
each connector to make sure there are no bent pins on the
motherboard.

If it boots, then start hooking things up ONE at a time
rebooting with each new component.
