Anybody seen this one?
I flashed a BIOS on a 4-year old Pentium board. The board was seeing my
8.5gb drive as 2.1gb. After flashing, all 8.5gb are recognized.
Problem is... floppy drive will not boot a Win98 boot disk. It will boot a
Lilo disk, though.... huh? I give up. It's a 3.5" 1.44mb drive and I have
3 to try... all did the same thing... spin, spin, spin, etc.
It's not the 'reversed cable' problem, this is a BIOS thing.
Why can it boot Linux from a floppy and not DOS/Win98?
