Don't know for sure on a 560, but I have worked on several Thinkpad
380s
and they have a separate charging circuit board that I have replaced.
I think they call it a system "sub card" or "DC/DC Card"
it cost me around $50 for the part.
IBM has the best support I've seen online with complete exploded
parts diagrams and discriptions
for most of their computers. The Thinkpad support home is at:
