Jason:
For a point of reference, you can find your registration number on the
"System Properties" page. To find this, right-click on "My Computer", select
properties. This will bring up the "System Properties" page. Your serial
number is on this page and looks something like this:
XXXXX-OEM-XXXXXXX-XXXXX.
Best of luck with the new PC.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Pre-install win98 following
Hi List:
I apologize for my first post here, I should give more details on my side of
problem. I bought my computer half a year ago from a local store, since then
I have had to deal with few windows crashes. I had to install windows98 few
times. I'm now feeling I'm ready to build a computer myself. I bought a
motherboard, a celeron CPU, 64Mb of RAM, a ATi AGP video card, a internal
modem, a 10G harddisk, and want to build it up with functional windows98. I
will give it to my relative as a gift who live in another city. He will use
it mainly for Internet usage. I don't want to give away my windows98 key, so
I need to install windows without the need of registry number. I remembered
when I first time I turned on my computer, I had to enter the number from my
windows book, I asked this to the place I bought my computer, they won't
tell me how to do it. Can anyone here help me please?
