You might want to check in the INF folder within the Windows folder (it is
hidden so you'll have to check the option to view hidden files in Explorer).
In there look for a .INF file whose name matches (or is similar to) the
model number or name of the hardware device you are trying to install. This
might provide a clue about what fiels are installed. Also, check for any
text files on the installation disk which might list these files (perhaps an
INF file). Furthermore, the files on the installation disk may well be the
same files compied to the hard disk during the installation, so you might
want to remove those. Of course, you'll need to ensure that none of the
files you remove are used (shared) by any other devices/applications.
