All Intel CPU's since the PII have been multiplier locked. That means they
are set at the factory to run at a certain multiplier, and can't be changed.
The PIII/533 is designed to run at a front side bus (FSB) frequency of 133Mhz
with a multipler of 4.0. Since the multiplier of 4.0 can't be changed, the
fastest you will be able to run it on a 100Mhz motherboard is 400Mhz (100Mhz
x 4.0).
Also be aware that the FC-PGA has a *slightly* different pinout than a
standard socket 370 does. If the motherboard only supports 100Mhz FSB, then I
would have serious doubts as to whether you can run a FC-PGA chip on it
(unless it is a Slot-1 board and you are using an FC-PGA compatible slocket
adapter).
