As an additional question, where might I get a cooling fan for a Diamond
Viper 770? I have the non-ultra with no fan. I need one and have a
make-shift setup now...are there clip-on fans available for this model?
Same deal, it's a TnT2 with 32MB and will freeze or BSOD (a.k.a. "Blue
Screen of Death"...Fatal Exception Error) the system if not cooled.
Thanks,
Martin Kurr

To add to what Kyle and Herbert have already said, before adding any new
cooling solutions you may want to check and see if the current fan on the
card is attached properly. If it appears to be solidly flush with the
chip, another suggestion might be to remove the fan and add a little
thermal grease before reattaching the fan (a nice thin layer). I remember
that this was a problem with some of the original TNT cards but I don't
know for sure regarding the TNT2. Worth a shot I think.
Also be sure to update to the latest available drivers if you haven't
already.
Good Luck,
