Unfortunately that sounds like a severe hardware problem, chances are
that it is having trouble reading the lower reflection amount that CDRW
media produces. It is very possible that as time goes on CDR media will
become difficult to read as well. It should still be under warranty, you
could try calling the manufacturer. Good luck, TTYL
