You did not specify what resolutions/display rates you tried. This
monitor supports 640x480 @ 60Hz, 800x600 @ 56Hz and 1024x768 @44
Hz with an S3 868 chipset. It may have a special sync polarity
requirement, so you will need to inform  the video driver of the
monitor type.
