Hello,
Yes, Alex Hayleydid visit The Gambia when he was investigating about his
roots. At that time I was in primary school at Abreda, a village very close
to Jufferey. I vividly remember we (school children) followed him around
the village of Jufferey.
However, I do not know about the library that you are talking about. There
are however other important buildings around Jufferey which he most likely
visited. These were buildings which were probably used during the slave
trade era.
