Tony:

I think that the presentation of the zapatistas in Mexico's Congress is not
a defeat, but is not a triumphal consequence of their struggle against the
oppression.

Is true, Fox and the Mexican ruling class are seeking for legitimate their
aims using the indigenous people. But the situation is deeper than the
legitimating of a ruling class that is responding to international
interests.

The indigenous problem is wider than Mexico's. And both parts have taken the
first step, government an indigenous people. If the Mexican Congress approve
a law giving autonomy to indigenous people, and they approve the right of
the indigenous people to decide about their natural resources such as
mining, oil, uranium and forests, the struggle would disappear with the
triumph of indigenous people.

If the intolerance of some politicians in the Congress, representing
tendencies in the ruler class, impede the creation of an indigenous law, the
struggle would turn into a more aggressive and violent activity and this
would grow with the addition of more indigenous groups and other extremists
groups, such as the EPR at Oaxaca and Guerrero.

Fox and the ruling class are seeking the disappearing of the PRD and the
EZLN but they are aware and they do not have agreements against their
intention to defeat transnational interest that are destroying the people of
every country.

Now a day the situation is very unstable and Mexican people are waiting for
the decision of the Congress.
