Cindy,
Not at all, although I've been told that I used to hold the book very close
to my face while reading. Oddly enough, this has changed over the years and
I'm either going to have to get bifocals or opt for arm extensions. ;>)

binocular vision---hence, no real depth perception. This is because the
muscles in the left ocular orbit (I'm a left-hemi, like yourself) are
affected by the CP and won't focus on the same object at the same time as
the right eye. Optometrists/Opthamologists have little experience with
neurological insult unless, of course, you find a "specialist". >>
Kyle,
Did this affect your reading ability during younger years before you
learned how to compensate? Cindy
