this is a statement that says so much in such a small space.

i remember finding out that before i was married, my sister had told my mom
to quit worrying about me being alone after they were gone, that she'd "take
care of me if i needed help." at the time i was more independant (early to
late 20's) than i am now.
  i think mom had told her that they were giving me "homestead rights" to
the house to be sure i had a place to live.



 The disablilty
affects everyone they associated with. Mother, Father, Sister, Brother,
Grandparents, future spouse and children etc. The entire family is in effect
disabled.
